Sugar From Dirt came about in a spontaneous moment of creativity.

I was humming the basic tune of the song for a few hours, then came up with the refrain "no good man ever made sugar from dirt." The rest came to me in a quick blur, desperate to get it down before I forgot even one detail. Right after that, I recorded a rough idea of the vocal delivery so I could add music to it later.

However, as I was working on some music, I felt that it wasn't needed, and instead scrapped the whole idea, added some additional and edited vocals over it, and turned it into some sort of demented acappella.

This is that version. A few times you can hear where I messed up the tune, syllable count or stretched a word too much. Most of those where corrected in the final version found the Prolapse EP.
