Noose Tie 02:42
life sucks and it ain't getting better living costs too much and you can't float in stormy weather (it's like a) break down in common courtesy daily fear campaigns about how strangers are your enemy (I've got a) pro- -blem with this world we're living in we're greedy for loose change and hope is running thin (someone) get this tie off of me it feels like a noose that's got me lynched from the corporate tree it's raining outside every single day I can't a afford a yacht so I'll be washed away and if it stops pouring I'm still doomed to drown because I can't afford to live on solid ground life sucks and that's about it no one cares about anyone else growing up taught to only care for yourselves (and why) can't we believe in what we want? why is being odd a thing that must be stopped? (this just) can't be what life is all about you shouldn't be measured by what's in your bank account (someone) get this tie off of me it feels like a noose that's got me lynch from the corporate tree life sucks (now get back to work) life sucks (need to pay off your worth) life sucks (there ain't much to miss) life sucks (and that's about it)

dirty fingernails are scrapping for wealth working for pennies to save myself living on salvation loans'll never last the spiritual economy's bound to crash been mining for silver linings in these clouds looking for hope when the sky's falling down the pit boss priest promised pay in paradise but the word of god is just mortal lies digging for china digging for gold digging for something to please my soul digging for hours digging for days looks like I've dug myself a grave seven plagues rolling in scream THE END IS NIGH a ticket to heaven has gone up in price workers to the life boats, the maelstrom swirls! opened tear ducts have flooded the world dug to rock bottom then dug a foot down

who needs friends when they don't meet your needs? they've been left behind, they're obsolete you've found peace in living your days alone with a cold heart in an empty home (the lights are off and the phone is quiet and you're there smiling in the silence) you're just waiting for one of them to mess up friendship with you is all about testing one's luck you've got no room to care for people in your heart one mistake and you'll throw them to the sharks who needs friends when they don't fit your mold? you need friends who will do as they're told living in line and doing what you say and if they go against the grain you'll throw them away (the lights are off and the phone is quiet and you're there smiling in the silence) throw them to the sharks (dear so and so, how have you been? enjoying the life you've put yourself in? are you proud of what you've done? are you proud that you've pushed away everyone? go ahead, you can lock that door no one's coming to your home anymore)

RUN! 02:52
(I've been running, yes, I've been running, my whole life I've been running, since the day I could first stand and walk I've been running, my shadow has a bone to pick with me!) I've been running from something chasing after me my shadow's got a truth it wants me to see over the mountains and around every bend a madman looking for where the sidewalk ends WHERE DO I GO? WHERE HAVE I BEEN? IF I STOP RUNNING I'LL NEVER RUN AGAIN I've been running yes I've been running

about

In 2013, I (Chad Dennis) and Scott MacDonald decided to end our first real musical project, TVhugs, and move on to a new and more serious project. It was called Oneirophobia, and it lasted right up until this EP was first released on September 3rd, 2013, under the name 'The Cringe Factory'.

In 2020, I rediscovered the work files for the EP, including one song that was nearly finished but was forgotten and left off the initial release.

I was never happy with the mixing or the programmed drums on the original release, and neither of us were happy with the name Oneirophobia. So, I decided to remake the drums, remix the songs, rerecord a few cut ideas that worked, and rerelease a seven year old demo under the TVhugs name. Most of these songs were going to be for a, at the time, final TVhugs release anyway that ended up being 'The Last Hoorah (And We Blew It!)', so we always said they were actually TVhugs material.

Oneirophobia means 'the fear of one's dreams and what they may mean'.

Enjoy, we guess?
