In 2011 we released our second EP, Piss Fish, which like all of our previous and future releases, went almost entirely unnoticed by anyone outside of our circle of friends. After two slapped together releases of borderline noise, embarrassing angst, and a rough year of encroaching adulthood kicking our asses, we decided to get more serious with our music. At the time we couldn't be a rock band, but we were sick of being just a noise band, so we aimed for a compromise and became a noise rock band... which wasn't as easy as we foolishly thought it would be.

This release is one part a remaster, one part a repair job, and one part a much too late finishing up. Due to past inexperience with proper exporting and backing up of stems some of the original material from Piss Fish has either been lost or has degraded in quality. Also, some of the songs weren't properly finished at the time. With this release we decided to gather together all related material from the era, then remix, repair, and finish recording what had been left unfinished. To maintain some semblance of continuity, we used as similar as possible setups as to what we would have used at the time.

Piss Fish was never a flawless release, especially the name, which we changed for this rerelease, but overall we look back at it more fondly than the drek we put out before, like phUHkeh. We hope you enjoy these songs being given the respect they deserve.
